We anticipate that we will have a season. We realize that the severity of the pandemic may impact in part or completely the high school, college and/or pro football schedule.
If you have a fever (>100.3 F), cough, sore throat, runny nose, congestion, body aches, loss of smell, loss of taste, nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, exposure to anyone with these symptoms, or exposure (direct or indirect) to anyone known or suspected to be positive for COVID 19, then DO NOT ATTEND THE MEETING.
Everyone entering the Elks Lodge will undergo temperature screening and anyone with temperature equal or greater than 100.4 will be turned away.
The bar will serve drinks in plastic, and there will be designated ordering stations.
Social Distancing:
Each table will be set for a maximum seating for 5 members instead of 8. Your flatware for dinner will be on the tables. In order for the team to maintain social distancing, a round table on the floor will be reserved.
Members will be called to the dinner line by table: therefore, dinner service will start 30 minutes earlier at 6:30pm.
Buffet: No salad bar.
There will still be two food lines. A shield will separate the members from the food, plates and staff. As you proceed through the line you will tell the staff what food you want, and they will place your food on your plate. When you reach the end the line, Elk’s staff will place your plate on the table for you to pick up. A similar procedure will be in effect for dessert and drinks. Drink refills will be delivered via pitcher by staff to your table.
Masks: We recommend you follow city/ health department guidelines.
Special Nights: Father/son night will be held. Due to capacity restraints, we will not be hosting Guest Nights.
If you test positive for COVID 19 you are responsible to notify any member you have had significant contact with. Significant contact = at least 15 minutes within 6 ft. without a mask. If you are unsure, err on the side of notifying the member in question.
New member applications: per new bylaws adopted in 2019
Any member may not sponsor more than 2 applicants for membership. Sponsorship is submitting an application or co-signing someone else application. The 2-applicant limit can be any combination of submitting applications or co-signing applications.

The club has 4 young men on $ 2500 per year scholarship each year. $10,000 total that is paid by funds raised by our sheriffs. This year will be tough with likely reduced attendance. Help us prepare for a potential shortage.
